Supabase
Open-source Postgres backend platform — auth, row-level security, Edge Functions and pgvector; my default BaaS for web products.
Supabase is an open-source backend platform built on PostgreSQL: auth, row-level security, storage, realtime, Edge Functions and the pgvector extension.
How I use it
- NovaMX CRM — the CRM's agentic lead and property scoring runs on Supabase Edge Functions.
- SaaS Products for Small Businesses — Next.js + Supabase products with row-level security, Edge Functions, MercadoPago webhooks and ETL jobs, from my Independent AI & Full-Stack Engineer (Freelance) work.
- White-label Flutter Apps — Supabase (or Firebase) as the backend for several white-label apps.
- Somnio Software — part of the stack in my current role.
Why it matters
Supabase keeps business data, auth rules and vector embeddings in one Postgres database, so features like row-level security and AI retrieval live next to the data they protect or search.
