Prisma
Type-safe ORM for Node.js and TypeScript — part of my backend toolkit.
Prisma is an ORM for Node.js and TypeScript that generates a type-safe client from a declarative schema and manages migrations for databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL.
How I use it
Prisma is part of my backend toolkit alongside NestJS and GraphQL. None of my public projects showcases it specifically; in my public Supabase-based products I work directly with Postgres, row-level security and Edge Functions.
Why it matters
A schema-first ORM keeps database types and application types in sync, which reduces a whole class of runtime errors in TypeScript backends. Where I use Supabase, the same goal is reached with generated types and row-level security directly in Postgres.
