I worked at Detecta remotely for over two years, first as a LowCode Specialist and then as a Software Engineer — the step where I moved from low-code delivery to full product engineering.
Software Engineer — 07/2023 – 10/2024
Location: Mexico (Remote) · Stack: Flutter, NestJS, Firebase, AWS
- Built and shipped the Detecta Security Platform, a triple-platform product serving three audiences: internal operations, customers and field drivers.
- Integrated real-time GPS fleet tracking via Wialon, backed by Firebase and AWS microservices built with NestJS.
The architecture pairs a backend-as-a-service (Firebase) with purpose-built NestJS microservices on AWS, so three audiences with different jobs are served from one shared data and tracking backbone.
LowCode Specialist — 08/2022 – 07/2023
Location: Mexico (Remote) · Stack: FlutterFlow, Flutter, Firebase
- Delivered production mobile applications with FlutterFlow and Flutter on a Firebase backend.
Working across both FlutterFlow and Flutter gave me a practical sense of where low-code helps and where hand-written code is needed.
