Node.js
JavaScript runtime for servers and tooling — under my NestJS microservices, Hono gateway and TypeScript agent work.
Node.js runs JavaScript and TypeScript on the server, with an event-driven, non-blocking I/O model.
How I use it
- Detecta Security Platform — NestJS microservices on AWS during my time at Detecta.
- Conversational AI Agents — a TypeScript monorepo with a Hono gateway, LangGraph.js and an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server in my Independent AI & Full-Stack Engineer (Freelance) work.
- mcp-deep-dive and langgraph-ts-agents — Node-based open-source labs managed with pnpm.
Why it matters
Running TypeScript end to end — front end, gateway, agents and tooling — means shared types and schemas (for example Zod) across every layer, and one language for most of a product.
Node's ecosystem also hosts the official MCP (Model Context Protocol) TypeScript SDK and LangGraph.js, the two building blocks I use most in my TypeScript agent work.
