Dart
The language behind Flutter — I authored Akashi, a 14-package Dart agent framework (13 on pub.dev), and ships white-label Flutter apps.
Dart is Google's client-optimized language, used by Flutter. Dart 3 adds sealed classes, records and exhaustive pattern matching.
How I use it
- Akashi — a provider-neutral agent framework built as a 14-package monorepo with 13 packages on pub.dev (160/160 pub points for the core package). It leans on sealed classes with exhaustive
switchto model messages and events, and onStream<T>as the native substrate for streaming. - White-label Flutter Apps — 6+ apps shipped from shared codebases in my Independent AI & Full-Stack Engineer (Freelance) work, with Bloc and Riverpod.
- Somnio AI Tools — the CLI is installed and run through the Dart SDK.
- Somnio Software — one of the languages used in my current role.
- Earlier, Detecta Security Platform at Detecta.
Why it matters
Most agent frameworks live in Python and TypeScript; Akashi's premise is that Flutter teams should not have to leave their language to build agents. Dart's sealed classes and streams turned out to be a strong fit for modelling agent events.
