PHP
Server-side web language — I built and maintained a fully custom PHP/MySQL CRM for several years.
PHP is a long-standing server-side language for web applications, commonly paired with MySQL.
How I use it
As IT Manager at California Fitness (2017–2021), I built and maintained a fully custom web CRM in PHP and MySQL, shipping weekly improvements across all branches. My earlier projects include a gym CRM with a PHP/MySQL backend and an Ionic mobile app, where customers reserved trainers and paid monthly subscriptions via API, and a PHP/MySQL internal tool for tracking a laboratory's customers, inventory and sales (2021–2022). PHP is where my production engineering started; today my work centres on TypeScript, Python and Dart.
Why it matters
Running a custom CRM in production for several years — weekly releases, database optimization, an ERP integration and QA automation with Selenium and Cypress — is the operational foundation behind my later product engineering.
