Cypress
JavaScript end-to-end testing framework — part of the QA automation I introduced at California Fitness.
Cypress is a JavaScript end-to-end testing framework that runs tests inside the browser with time-travel debugging, automatic waiting and screenshots or videos of failing runs.
How I use it
At California Fitness, I introduced QA automation with Cypress and Selenium covering the custom web CRM and the mobile applications.
Why it matters
Cypress runs inside the browser alongside the application, which makes tests for web front ends fast to write and debug. For a CRM that shipped weekly improvements across all branches, automated end-to-end checks are the safety net that keeps each release from breaking daily operations.
Together with Selenium, it was part of the QA automation I introduced for the CRM and mobile applications.
