fastlane
Automation for iOS and Android builds, signing and store releases — part of my white-label app pipeline.
fastlane is an open-source tool that automates mobile builds, code signing, screenshots and App Store / Google Play releases.
How I use it
fastlane works alongside Codemagic in the CI/CD for my White-label Flutter Apps (Independent AI & Full-Stack Engineer (Freelance)), automating per-flavor builds and releases. My Stores Helper scripts cover the adjacent store-side work: products, subscriptions and metadata through the store APIs.
Why it matters
Scripted, repeatable releases are what make shipping many branded apps practical. Signing, versioning and store uploads become code that can be reviewed and rerun, rather than a checklist someone has to remember for each brand.
Combined with store APIs for products and metadata, almost the whole release surface becomes automatable.
