Vercel is a cloud platform for front-end and full-stack web apps, and the maintainer of Next.js and the Vercel AI SDK.

How I use it

This site (azanello.com) is a Next.js app hosted on Vercel, using incremental static regeneration for GitHub and certification data. Vercel is my default home for Next.js work, and the Vercel AI SDK is part of the stack of my Independent AI & Full-Stack Engineer (Freelance) work.

Why it matters

Preview deployments per branch and incremental static regeneration fit my Spec-Driven Development workflow: every change can be checked in a live preview before it ships, and data such as GitHub activity refreshes without a rebuild.

For small-business products, the same platform keeps hosting simple and costs proportional to traffic.
