Letting the model render interface, not just text — I streamed React components from tool calls with the Vercel AI SDK.
Generative UI means the model's tool calls produce interface components — forms, result cards, downloads — streamed into the conversation instead of plain text.
How I use it
In AI Agent Products & Remote MCP, an earlier version of the agent used the Vercel AI SDK to stream React components from tool calls in Next.js: data-collection steps appeared as forms and results as structured cards inside the chat. The current version moved orchestration to LangGraph while keeping a component catalog for the UI.
Why it matters
Structured UI keeps an agent precise where free text would be ambiguous — collecting exact inputs and showing exact results.
