Google Cloud's managed AI platform — I run Gemini-powered LangGraph agents on Vertex AI in production.
Vertex AI is Google Cloud's platform for running and managing models, including the Gemini family, with enterprise controls such as regional deployment and IAM-based access.
How I use it
- AI Agent Products & Remote MCP — a production LangGraph (LangGraph.js) agent runs on Gemini through Vertex AI, integrated via the Vercel AI SDK provider and LangChain's Vertex integration.
- Somnio Software — part of the stack in my current role.
- My open-source framework Akashi ships a Google Gemini adapter, so the same models are reachable from Dart.
Why it matters
Going through Vertex AI instead of a consumer API key gives cloud-native authentication, quotas and data controls — what production clients usually need.
